It all started when I was 14 years old. I wanted to get into the woodworking program at school. Unfortunately, it was full, so I had to settle for the metal shop course. Looking back I can see God was directing my steps.

It didn’t take long for me to realize I enjoyed working with metal and getting to create with my hands! Ever since then, I have been learning and improving my skills from stick welding to aluminum TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding and implementing my skills with every opportunity..

I soon found a job as a welder for an auto body repair shop, replacing damaged metal panels and inner structures of vehicles. This experience allowed me to grow in the finesse side of metalworking and metal finishings.

You might ask why railing? In 2017, I met a man named Alex while on a humanitarian trip overseas. I discovered that he was also in the metal fabrication business. He became my mentor for metal railing fabrication. He taught me many trade secrets I still use daily.

Although Alex is no longer here, I am forever grateful for him and the way he invested in me.

In April 2020, I started Modern Metal Company and began taking small railing jobs. Since then, my team and I have been creating stunning metal railings for residential and commercial properties. From raw materials to finished products, we take pride in every piece we create.
